Below: This is a power plant RTU that had no drawings and no way to trouble shoot with a local computer.
Below: New RTU provided by NTSI, remote drop in same enclosure. This RTU expansion is connected to the Main Data Concentrator Panel (next picture) while also providing substation circuit breaker status to the main SCADA computer. This SCADA computer system also provided by NTSI.
Below: Data Concentrator by NTSI - Note: Module upper right corner provides a modbus communications link to the host utility SCADA and EMS system.
Below: Left hand photo is a power plant RTU. This again is impossible to get up and running in a hurry, no documentation or programming interface.
Below: Right hand photo is the new RTU replacement provided by NTSI including drawings and programming interface. This interface resides at the main SCADA computer system also provided by NTSI.
